About Us

Head trainer, Meredith Benson has always been drawn to animals, specifically dogs. From offering care to neighborhood puppies as a child to seeking their comfort throughout life's journey's, Meredith knew she wanted to build her life around these amazing animals. 

 Meredith has a background ranging form Scent Detection, Advanced Obedience, Agility, Off Leash Obedience, Service and Therapy, Protection dogs and Hunt training. 

Meredith began her dog training career observing and shadowing established trainers around the country. She noticed trainers only used one method of training for dogs that were experiencing a wide range of training needs or behavioral issues. This did not make sense to Meredith as every dog is different as well as owner's goals for training. 

After receiving her BA in Sociology from DePauw University, Meredith furthered her dog specific knowledge studying and training at a professional K9 training school; she learned from a handful of elite trainers and studied under one of the world's top titled competitive dog trainers. 

Meredith has taken the wide range of training approaches  with which she has had first hand experience and applies the appropriate methods to your dog!
